Oh man, I’m starting to get nervous as I sit here working on my dummy, hoping I chose the right typography! Ha! 😝 this sounds like a very important talk!

My daughter and I made our own cake to celebrate Three Kings Day. We were inspired by reading THE LAST SLICE by @melissaseronrichardson & illustrated by @monicarnaldo. She even found the baby Jesus! 😉 it was delicious! I think this is going to be a new tradition for us! #kidlit

I colored this sketch that I created for #doodleadaymay. I imagined this little girl gathering a bouquet of daisies on her way to stay at Grandma’s house! I’ve been working on a couple book dummies a lot lately and it was fun to take a break with a little piece just for fun! #kidlitart

Day 5, 6 and 7 of #doodleadaymay - ceramics, rug and fern. I’d love to be spending my day sipping coffee and reading in a plant-filled, and likely sunny, room. I also like combining prompts from a couple days into a fun scene. I have a good idea down the next couple days. Stay tuned… #kidlitart

Day 3 and 4 of #doodleadaymay - Utensil and Galaxy. This was a sketch of my daughter eating breakfast. Both of my kids love looking at books while they eat (and any other time!). I might have to do a sketch of my son eating his breakfast too to preserve this precious memory. #kidlitart
