We spoke about trans & gender nonconforming visibility, measurable representation + strong data and how brands like M·A·C are proving that purpose and profit are not at odds. When inclusion is woven into every decision, from product development to campaign casting, it builds trust that lasts.
With Aïda Moudachirou-Rebois of M·A·C Cosmetics and Asha Shivaji of the SeeMe Index, we explored what it really takes to centre inclusion at the heart of a global brand, not just in statements, but in structure, in leadership, and in action.
Today at Cannes Lions, with my MAC glam on under the sun and looking out over the sea, I moderated a conversation that felt both timely and urgent.
Our presence is radical.
Our voices are necessary.
And our future? It’s ours to write - fierce, collective, and uncompromising.

To those who mother, those who have been mothered, those grieving, those healing, and those redefining what family looks like, I see you.
I’m sharing my daughter’s words here not just because they mean the world to me, but because they reminded me that chosen family, growth and joy are always possible, even when the journey hasn’t been easy.
And my own mum, too, I thank her daily, and I don’t need just one day to recognise how special she is. Her love, guidance and strength live in everything I do.
I was incredibly moved by my daughter’s words, they made me pause, reflect and feel deeply loved. I thank her every day, I don’t need just a day. Her love and boldness keep me going in ways she’ll never fully realise.
For many, it’s a joyful celebration. For others, it brings up loss, longing, distance or heartache. I want to acknowledge all of that, and take a moment for everyone who finds today difficult.
I was too busy having fun yesterday and being spoilt that I didn’t have time to post!
Mother’s Day can be beautiful, but it can also be complicated.
