While that might be the case for Walter, who we already know has set aside his morals to save himself, I would say Jesse definitely has a defined character arc, who starts off selfish and seemingly amoral, but gradually, bit by bit, shows himself to be deeply empathic as we move through the seasons.
I absolutely disagree. When WW just stands there watching a woman choke to death on her own vomit I was practically weeping and screaming at the TV “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! DON’T JUST STAND THERE!!”
If we hadn’t already realised he was a monster by then, that moment was like 100 nails in the coffin.
