Happy Cinco de Mayo! May it be one filled with joyful memories and stories about those family and friends who touched your lives but are no longer here to tell them.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! May it be one filled with joyful memories and stories about those family and friends who touched your lives but are no longer here to tell them.
Bright blessings to you all on this Beltane. May it and this new season be filled with joy and abundance!β
I'm still feeling a bit down and have an urge to complain, but the down makes me think no one cares. Sigh⦠Anyway, this week, at the request of a patient, we are doing flowers.
Today has been one of those days that I just want to escape from this world and go to another one. I want to go on an adventure with close friends and sail the ocean looking for treasure. Or explore a dungeon to get strength and loot. Sighβ¦
After two days of uploading my drawings to my two-day-old Instagram account I have been marked as a bot and my account has been suspended! Also, when I try to repeal the app wonβt send me a confirmation code. WTF!!!
I have been thinking recently about posting less of my daily doodles. I got an Instagram account and am currently uploading my drawings there. I will still post just not as muchβ¦I don't know.
Anyway here is Zoro doing a special attack from One Piece.
I'm feeling kind of down today. I'm asking myself if it's worth it, and nothing I do matters. Two people complimented my drawing today, which normally cheers me up, but not today.
This week's theme is One Piece, which a patient requested.
I am so upset. I was going to post the rest of the lions and one of Voltron yesterday but someone erased Voltron! I was so upset π€ that I didnβt post anything. So here are the Lions and Princess Allura.
Okay, so I suck at drawing robots and machines! I barely made any deviations from my reference. Still, I think the Black Lion from Voltron turned out decent, even though I can see where I had trouble.
Poem called Pointless written on 11Apr25 Without cause, reason or rhyme My heart gives pause at your memory For at least the thousandth time My vision feasts lost in pleasant reverie When blackened thoughts roughly intrude Countless backhanded whispers of the sins I bear A verdict to render for your love I did exclude My heart bleeds to remember the time we shared In this organ wizened and black is a name This portion of you I keep buried behind walls No matter the day, time or years it is the same It shines and shouts to be known in these hollow halls. The cycle is never-ending yet my mind is futilely defending against the one no longer there.
Good grief, people. I have been busy. Not only did I manage to draw a great-looking Josie, but I also wrote a poem! I haven't written one in a while. I feel accomplished.
Guys, I am in a different office today. So I cannot do a daily dooble because there is no white board I can easily draw on. Fortunately, I forgot to post yesterdayβs. So here it is. I wasn't feeling this week's theme. I need a better oneβ¦
I was super disappointed that no one recognized Jem and the Holograms, so today, I switched to Josie and the Pussycats.
So, I know that I said I would do better about posting the daily doodles, but today, I didn't even take a photo of it. Sighβ¦
I wanted to make a joke about these two, but I am realizing that I don't know much about the Shredder's minions. Bebop and Rocksteady were such a staple of the show, and I don't know much of their lore. Am I actually a fan of TMNT?
Rats, I forgot to post this yesterday. And I promise I did not do it on purpose just to make that jokeβ¦
Cowabunga to all on this totally awesome April Fools Day. For today, I could not think of a more gnarly dude to draw than Michelangelo.
Allergies totally attempted to kill me on Friday. I have made a full recovery, which is excellent. Now, I am ready for another righteous weekβ¦
So, real quick: I don't feel good this might be the last doodle of the week.
I am so happy with how this turned out.
And what would Lino-O do without the faithful Snarf?
This one turned out good! I am so pleased with it. I saw it on Pinterest and it was posted by a the user Yasmin. I had to try and draw it for myself.
ThunderCats was my favorite show growing up. But I was so distracted yesterday I forgot to post the doodle of Lion-O.
No one commented on Skeletor! Does he look bad? I mean, he is a villain, but does the drawing look bad? Also the lettering looks black but is supposed to be purple.
I forgot! It is a good thing the Sorceress is a benevolent being.
I used a still frame of this scene as a reference. It was surprising how simple the lines were. I added some dark spots and hatch marks for shading and more depth. It turned out well.
By the power of a crumbling old castle that I loved when I was a kid. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
I think I went a little too hard on the bullβs face. It looks a little noisy, but otherwise, I think this one is good. A co-worker's request for next week is He-Man.
Is it bad that one of my favorite characters in this movie is the wino skeleton? I don't even drink.
Attention EXPO dry-erase markers: Please create a range of grey markers. If you already have them, please make them more available!!
Then then there are times when I look at a picture and I don't like it. Yesterdays black and white turned out so well with the shading but this one needed to be colored I think to get the effect I want.
