So per tradition, here is one of gratitudes: my adorable and wonderful cat. Sir Nigel. He did this a lot more as a kitten but he has started it up again where he perches on my shoulders/arms. He especially likes doing this while I am trying to get ready and leave for work, but I still love him.

Funny enough I attempted to slow cook a pork loin and ended up drying it out, bit it was my own damn fault because my doubt got to me and I deviated from instructions. Those are just the consequences. Lesson learned and mistakes I will avoid in the future

Side note, not knowing a lot of Italian history, I scrolled through a long list of Italians, many names I recognised, and there's at least hundreds of better options, some still problematic but actually accomplished something notable, not saying that they deserve a holiday still
I have two hot takes here, one of which I will leave unsaid, and the other being that I feel like, much like my opinion on statues of historical figures, we probably shouldn't have holidays in honour of people, but rather focus on commemorating what they stood for.

So interesting update, I ended up going to an urgent care (unrelated) but while talking to the doctor he randomly asked me if I had NF, notating that he had noticed my tumors, and that the last time he had seen a case of it he was 10yrs ago in Thailand. A bit rare I guess.
