piczel said the problem was on their end, and it's now fixed! Hooray.

I tried to join the stream, but you can't actually talk without a piczel account. There is something wrong with Google RECAPTCHA, that thing that makes you solve a puzzle to prove you're not a bot. It only times out now, so I'm incapable of creating an account on Piczel now. -_-

I'm actually okay with that. CGI Jeff Bridges was supposed to be fake and fake-looking in that movie, just like the various machines in the first Tron didn't look entirely real -- it was all a simulation of an early-2000s computer.

She is absolutely fantastic in Tron: Legacy, but... like with Jared Leto, any adventure movie that has Garrett Hedlund as the primary protagonist can't rise above mid. He and Josh Duhamel and Aaron Taylor Johnson are my trifecta of mid, bland, boring white actor boys.

He was apparently okay in his earlier days starring in British sitcoms that played to those, umm.. strengths.

In the Civil War, the only "States Rights" that the Confederate states argued for was the state's rights to enslave people. MAGA argues these principles not out of a sense of idealism, but because it's convenient for them. Those principles are dropped whenever a political adversary is involved.

They've done that in the past, several times. IE, Toy Story remastered in 4k and 3D and released to theaters in 2009. Now, if you mean "remake" instead of "remaster," that's a different subject. :-D

It's pretty frequent in the entertainment industry in general. You're usually hired not to work at and stay at a studio, but to work on a specific project. The exception would be support companies -- like effects companies that operate on contract.
