There’s one other person here who’s definitely lgbt, but she also seems to be pretty isolated like me. We work in completely different areas but we’ve already talked a few times. I just wish my department would stop being so fake. Like, dislike me if you want, but don’t pretend that you don’t.
Started a new job this week, and I knew it was in a much more rural, and therefore conservative area than where I live, but damn, I wasn’t expecting them to be so clique-y and clearly unwelcoming. Being visibly queer really sucks sometimes.

It’s just exhausting tbh. I now have a long recovery with lots of restrictions on what I’m allowed to do. I may be a cat, but resting all day and not walking is very hard for me. And once I heal, I’ll have to do it again to get the organs infused.

I had my endometriosis excision surgery yesterday! It went well, for the most part, except that several of my organs are fused together from the endo and my surgeon did not feel comfortable seperating it, so is referring me to another specialist. Which also means the endo will definitely grown back.

Acknowledge the questions for disabled attendees. I attend 6+ cons a year, and FWA is consistently the worst for accessibility. They don’t even have a dedicated page for it on their website! In this day and age, it is ridiculous that they don’t consider non-abled bodied attendees in all of this.
