Trans Youth Suicides Skyrocketed In UK After Care Drawdown; Government Covers It Up A Freedom of Information request to the National Child Mortality Database reveals that 22 trans children under 18 died by suicide in England in 2021-22 alone.

In an alarming development, it appears the UK Government covered up a massive spike in trans youth suicides after restrictions.

Then covered it up again when caught.

Now, after fighting for years, the data is public: trans suicide increased 5x in the country.

Morning reminder that PIP still isn’t an out-of-work benefit, and is actually an enabler for many to be able to work.

Though the DWP do (wrongly) use work as a form of gatekeeping.

It’s also nowhere near enough to cover additional costs for most disabled folk.

As many of us begin Christmas meal prep, allow me to share the advice that my ER nurse sister puts in the chat every year:

A dropped knife has no handle. Jump away. Let it fall. You can pick it up and wash it.

Please stay home if you’re feeling sick.

If you absolutely can’t stay home, wear a mask.

There are people who can’t afford to get sick. People without paid time off, people who are disabled or immune compromised, people who are caregivers.

The fact that asymptomatic Covid cases can lead to Long Covid IMO probably leads to more people attributing illness to vaccine complications than what could actually occurring, when the underlying problem could be a Covid infection.
