1957 Volvo. My x managed to find three of these in the early 70’s and we both drove them. The third one was used for parts.
Living in Corvallis, our family had season tickets for over 30 years. Valenti, all of Ralph’s years and a couple years of Jimmy A. Gill was often full and the students showed up. Great memories.
More boxes from the attic. Clearly,Sister Mary Francis was not impressed with me in 6th grade. She also gave me a C in religion. This was the year (1964), I started questioning everything!

From my perspective, continuing is similar to allowing yourself to be bullied. I get the payday part, ignoring how we got here is wrong. One can’t have selective memory of why it was a valued tradition and ignore them killing the PAC.

73, taught myself with the occasional help from teen grandkids. Yesterday I was curious about the history of a building in the Seattle area. Had the info in less than a minute. The better I get at narrowing my question, the more useful.

Long time ago - worked a 2nd job bartending at the Gables, made many of these. Great memories. Also worked many football weekends. Coug fans were great, Huskie fans awful!

FBook feed suggests - Corvallis group, “Corvallis looks like crap”. It has over 3000 members. Curiosity creeped in, these posts are all about slamming the unhoused and local and state politics. All I wanted to do was see my daughter’s pics from Sedona. Mad I was curious, time for yard work. UGH!
This triggered great memories. One of my brothers loves horse racing and has followed the county race track circuit for many years. I’ve been to the Pig and Ford races a few times. Hilarious and also the locals are very serious about this tradition.
