negl i could redraw kou headshot w sky background like 50 times. it's my favourite genre.

the blackhole headshot became this (combo of his original app art + the headshot)

I kept trying different hair rendering styles, different eyes and lowkey hated all of them!!! EUGH

i took inspo from all kinds of places (i stole the weird button nose i always see on AI art negl)

anyways this headshot (same as the blackhole one) was when i tried to just add a bunch of hair details. lowkey i hate to say it. i like the stupid shit AI does with hair strands. i be doing that shit!!!!

I also tried painting (no lineart) in Aug 2023 and lowkey rly liked it (it was basically my style at the time but painted, with different eyes). but then i did it w kirin and didn't like it ahfsdhas

it kind of started w my kou headshot experiments? like i just tried completely different styles until i found elements I liked??

Kou's situation was similar in that I knew I was writing him lowkey trans coded, but didn't want to make him trans because it felt stereotypical.

He wasn't originally 'little guy' coded, it just happened as I wrote him. He also has a twin sister </3
