The only time I felt in actual "danger" in all my work with non-state violence specialists in Korea was when they were politically oriented. Good reminder that "More people will die of bad politics than bad physics" (Einstein).
I am not 100% convinced I agree with this point. For much of the world, commerce—rather than Jesus, is the reason for the season—meaning the commercial association is at least consistent with the underlying purpose and rationale of K-pop. That is likely a superficial understanding of k-pop though.

Look around. The case for more, not less, liberal arts education - actual, real education in reading, writing, thinking, arguing, analyzing, & synthesizing by doing the actual hard work for which there is no substitute - is stronger than it’s ever been at any point in human history.
