Screenshot from Wikipedia app: FoldiMate, Former Californian Robots Company. FoldiMate was a California-based company developing a robotic laundry-folding machine founded in 2012. Their clothes folding machine was aimed to enter the market by the end of 2019. In 2021, the company folded.
I like that Q2 has currently an average error of 209 - which presumably means that a few people are putting in the age of the celebrity, rather than the year they were born.
It's the "Magic Roundabout" somewhere in the suburbs of Cardiff. It's looking a little tired but I do like it too :)
I have not been in the Cardiff version, but I did occasionally pop in the Bristol shop when I lived there.
@guineverecryptic.bsky.social a special bonus picture for you
@unchcrosswords.com Itβs all gone a bit metaβ¦
That's a beautiful bird!

A GOOD MORNING TO YOU SIR
Very impressive! No witty response from me other than that is really cool.
Just found out that in parts of Hispaniola, work stops when the temperature climbs above 30C.
It's the Haiti high-eighties hiatus.
(a very good morning to you all whether you want it or not)
I should also say, I have a copy of this quiz book, and it is excellent and I highly recommend it.
The news is unremittingly miserable right now, so why not escape to an imaginary pub where every night is quiz night?
Huge thanks to Gareth for his lovely review β€οΈ

A photo of a book in a shop on a bookshelf - the title is ANXIETY FOR BEGINNERS.
Pfft, whatever. Iβm an expert.
Also how did I not know until now that Jim Howickβs character, the scout leader, is called Pat Butcher?!
I was worried they would kill off Mike in the last series, but that he would become a ghost and join the others and Alison would actually cope ok, and it would be about βwhy isnβt she grievingβ.
Now I worry that will happen hereβ¦! Donβt kill em, Pike!
Yes, also concerned by the "just one more" of this.

Yes, I was! With DB at RDF? I think we must have met then without knowing!
Exciting stuff!
@frycandle.bsky.social Really looking forward to The Button Effect! I haven't played the demo, I am saving all the good stuff for streaming it at some point after it becomes available.
What will the rough length of the game be, do you reckon? 4 hours ish? More, less?
Go on - stick it to them!
A full set of magnetic Scrabble tiles on the fridge. At the top, in magnetic kids letters, it says THINGS IN THIS KITCHEN. Below is the set of Scrabble arranged with the following words: Boiler, whisk, meat, towel, pizza, cumin, food, sieve, strainer, jug, bread, gloves, tray, radio, nut, fridge, potato, bowl, squash, knife, pyrex, sauce, magnet, colander
Facebook reminds me that 12 years ago I posted this photo of a full set of magnetic Scrabble tiles that me and my housemate slowly worked out whenever we passed the fridge in the kitchen.
It's one of my life's crowning achievements.
