This site needs a break. Post 3 good things, none of which are the cessation of a negative.
1. Yesterday, my wife and I were given dinnerware by friends.
2. We ate pasta, olive bread, and ginger molasses cookies from the bakery together.
3. My friend, a monk, read the psalms and said grace.

Could probably write something on the Community of the Theophany, a radically pacifist, agrarian, Byzantine rite "new community" in France. I have a recording of their liturgical music on vinyl. I could create hand-dubbed cassettes of this music that would be circulated with the journal/zine.
If this garners enough interest, I will think of putting something together!
You wouldn't have to be Orthodox to submit, only broadly concerned with Orthodoxy (or lower-case "o" orthodoxy) as it relates to these concerns. Something along the lines of Tiqqun, Tolstoy, and the Byzantine rite. But also: original poetry, reflections on literature, art, etc.
