I've been having that feeling about the whole Trump 2 term. Change government type to something authoritarian, turn the research and culture way down, break all your trade and international alliances, and waste a bunch of time and resources being belligerent.
I'm already a little leery of the sheer amount of energy stored on, say, an LNG tanker. This would really stack up the incentives for Iran to turn some cheap drones into dramatic physical and economic damages. You'd feel both a long from a long way off.
