My son’s first word is mama. My daughter’s was dada for months and months. So very happy to have some mama!!

On this day 3 years ago, I had a baby ❤️

When I started BlueSky I followed too many of those starter packs and they made the feed unbearable. Need to mass unfollow and start over.

A lot of parenthood is the serenity to accept things I cannot change, like my 2yo is eventually going to mix the play dough colors, and the wisdom to know the difference.

We’ll be watching TV or something with our 2 yr old and she’ll say “where’s their mommy?” about everyone. Like her parents are always with her so where are everyone else’s parents? It’s very sweet.

Snow day going great we’ve already had 20 minutes of real tears because I cut the strawberries but didn’t cut the carrots.

Having one baby in late spring and one baby in winter, I really recommend spring if you can help it. Being trapped inside inside with a newborn in a polar vortex is… not the best.

lol he was 8.5 lbs but a lot of that is fluids!

Have lost 14 lbs in a week and my lower back is rejoicing. 👶🏻

Kickin off day 4 on the planet

I lost a large Wawa cup of blood during birth (22 oz technically) and my face is still yellowy with little color 3 days later 😬

Me at the Dr: “what’s the baby’s middle name, I forget”
Husb: “it’s Luigi, I went rouge filling out the birth cert”

A joke, but I really didn’t look at the birth cert paperwork at all before he turned it in 😂

I’ve kept in touch with my doula from my first child and now two times I’ve told her something and she’s said “wow, I have never seen that before.” This is someone who has witnessed 100s of births! Just happy for modern meds that can deal with my unique body and kids and everyone is happy and safe.
