Too bad a lot of my caucasian compatriots completely missed the messaging being sent.

It may have been Monday, but it was a good Monday. Got a lovely email from a former student, and a current student told me she liked the way I narrated the essay I read to their class today. Made me smile.

Today, several of my students finished their assignment early. One of my girls then proceeded to teach her classmate how to crochet. :)

He's already been quoted saying WE are going to suffer in order to "make America great again." Not the rich, but the rest of us.

Writer friends: have you ever been trying to write a book and reallized about 7K words in that your heart isn't in THAT book? Part of my wants to keep forcing myself to work on it, but another part is like, if it's too hard, put it aside and work on something else instead!

One of my favorite things about Bluesky is the interface reminds me of Twitter but without the BS from X. :)
