I've reached a point in watching Star Trek: the Original Series where I've become convinced that in actuality, Captain Archer was a better captain than Kirk. Frankly I find this shocking, as Archer's constant bad decisions were the most painful part of watching "Enterprise".
I hear that when the ball drops in Phoenix, it breaks open and the nearby city blocks are bathed in light, & there are rumors of a fiery bird burned into some people's retinas.
The main church setting also weirdly looked familiar to me. I'm not seeing any articles about the church in Essex being used by other movies/shows though, so probably just my imagination... unless you know of a specific instance where its been used before?

a lot of upset people seem shocked that Adam Driver didn't get to have a follow-up movie to "Rise of Skywalker". But my problem with the spec script is Star Wars has to stop bringing back dead characters. If he was a force ghost the whole movie that'd be okay, but let dead characters stay dead.
