Doumeki leans close to Watanuki to intensely stare at his face. Watanuki tries to cover his blush and asks “Wh-what’s the matter?” Doumeki says “Nothing. I was just wondering what kind of face you were making.” Watanuki blocks with his hand and screams “You idiot! Keep your eyes to yourself!”
Watanuki kindly asks “But what good is giving a guy chocolate when you stole his soul to do it?”
Watanuki’s elegant hand opens his flip phone which shows that “dumb ass” is calling him. He yells“Argh!”
In Dreams, Sakura holds Watanuki’s hand and asks him “Your birthday… You said it was April First?” He replies “…Yes.” Sakura says “My birthday and Syaoran-kun’s… Are on the same day.” Watanuki replies with “My name is spelled with the kanji for April First. Although it’s pronounced ‘Watanuki.’” Seconds before heartbreak, he continues: “On the other hand, my parents’ names are…”
Watanuki looking thoughtful and concerned, says “April… First.”
Watanuki asks “But when I had that dream about your grandfather, you didn’t see it, did you?” Doumeki replies “I don’t think you see dreams with your eyes.”
Watanuki, his eyes wide open, questions: “Eggplant?”
Watanuki has a vision of Himawari smiling so bright and happy, and exclaiming “Now Watanuki-kun and Doumeki-kun are as one mind and one body! 🖤”
After Himawari says something very heartfelt and kind, we see Watanuki looking at her with such fondness. Doumeki is “munching” in the background. Watanuki suddenly snaps and yells “Listen! When a guy’s being moved by the kindness of others, don’t spoil the mood with your loud eating!” Himawari is beaming with joy and imagining that Watanuki is a pissed off cat attacking a mouse. Doumeki munches another bite in the form of a question?
Yuuko grin and says “Very well then, strip!!”
Mokona is sitting in Doumeki’s hand and asks him “Doumeki, do you have a liver?” He replies “As far as I know it hasn’t been removed.” (Waterflame Scanlations)
Watanuki says “There’s just something that worries me.” Yuuko says “Just why you are such a loser with the women?”
Watanuki looks irritable and aware of his doom. He says “Yes. Unnaturally large.”
With a smile, Watanuki says “Unnaturally large. You know?”
Watanuki is seriously distressed, sweating, and covering his right eye with his hand. Jorougumo (out of frame) says “Thank you for providing the meal.”
Two panels side by side, Watanuki looking surprised in the first, Doumeki staring straight ahead in the second. The dialogue over them says “You and this man are mixed together.”
Yuuko pulls down passed-out Doumeki’s eyelid to check something. “Ahhh,” she says, “It looks like he’s completely lost his soul.” An alarmed Watanuki exclaims “Are you serious?! His soul?!”
In a flashback, Yuuko has her back turned to us while she shows an egg to the Tsubasa family over Mokona Skype. We can see that she’s holding another egg behind her back. In the present, she says “Two eggs arrived.”
Watanuki is shoving a lunch bag in Doumeki’s direction but he won’t look at him. He asks “Do the things I make taste good?”
Yuuko is clapping her hands and says “Yes, yes. Let’s wrap up the pubescent ramblings for the day.” In the background we see Watanuki twirling and letting loose hearts, Mokona catches one from where he is perched in Doumeki’s hand.
Watanuki says to Yuuko “My right eye… has been eaten.”
Watanuki is walking to school with Himawari, Doumeki, and freshly birthed Tampopo. He says “I was so surprised! When I woke up, there the little thing was!” Doumeki replies “In other words, you gave birth.”
Himawari has Tampopo on her shoulder and a huge happy grin on her face. She exclaims “I didn’t see anything at all! It must be a mystery hole!” Sparkles surround her cuteness.
We see Watanuki looking totally shocked. Dialogue reads “…Dead bodies.”
“I… I never look like a hunk!” Watanuki awkwardly exclaims to Himawari.
Yuuko: “Have these young men no eyes to see?”
