STL vs STL
My hope is still we can quit looking back and start looking forward once this is complete.
Welcome back. I have my first assigned seating flight on Thursday. I am very ready for it
Not really sure the point of this but FYI to anyone flying soon.
I hope they both made it out of the lake.
Some MidAmerica Airport news.
"The most productive discussions were with Avelo. Avelo plans to purchase aircraft in 2027 and 2028 and is currently identifying locations to base them. They are considering 10 locations, and MidAmerica is one of them.β

Big news!
The best kind of schedule change. Followed closely by the 5 minute change of departure or arrival.
I still donβt get why the airport ones donβt have to be posted
Neither are airport commission.
Pointsguy article does say they will do the ones with their oldest WiFi platform first. Which is good because itβs rough.
Great news!
Obviously subject to change but Lufthansa has nonstops to Frankfurt for February 2027 loaded. So maybe we will keep February flights next year after having a break in the flight this February.
Frontier has release their summer schedule

Cancun - I can't break out between AA/Southwest/Frontier until DOT numbers come out.
Missed the chance to mention St. Louis is keeping their Minoru Yamasaki designed domes in the main terminal when they redo their terminal.
Pretty cool. Also fun to say "returning". I just had assumed all games would be in California.
This makes me so happy. My biggest gripe about Southwest is now over.
Better late than never!

Found these details in a STL concessions RFP
British Air will fly out of T2
April 2027 - Airlines will move from A concourse to D/C
April 2029 - airlines will move from C/D to new terminal
March 2031 - Southwest moves into new terminal.
Found this interesting.
The St. Louis Regional Freightway has released its 2026 Priority Projects List.
One of them is for Midamerica airport: This project includes building an approximately two-mile rail spur from the Norfolk Southern main line to the southern edge of the airport.
Allegiant and Sun Country are merging. WOW!
www.prnewswire.com/news-release...
I missed the October commission meeting, the minutes were posted.
It was mentioned - While Southwest thinks STL needs a new terminal, STL shouldnβt over design and overspend.
At this point I am pretty sure it is going to be function over fancy. Iβll be curious if they cut the gates to save cost.
December loads (Customs)
Lufthansa Frankfurt 95.07%
Air Canada Toronto 70.94% - might end up a tick lower do to an NHL charter flight skewing numbers.
Southwest Cabo 68.53%
Frontier Punta Cana 55.19%
Cancun I can't parse out between the three airlines on it.
For those who missed it, me included, Spirit Airlines last flight from STL was Tuesday.
October and November numbers are out for STL
October passengers up 1.7%
November passengers down 1.8%
Total YTD down 3.9%
Should end up around 15.3 mil for the year.
