But we are SO post COVID times, dont you know? all that taking it slowly back to full fitness is so 2021...๐๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Was not in the UK until later, and then was a choice of singles or the MMR until about the year 2000
I thought I would call on to my son's work on my way home as I hadn't seen him yesterday or today. That meant buying food that doesn't agree with me. 2 hrs later my digestive system *might* be calming down...
I was shocked to just find out they say just one booster 16-29. The most socially active age group?! My youngest is traveling and I would very much have preferred him to have had a booster ahead of his travel
We stop at a clothes shop for taku potiki. Then i go on the search for chocolates.
Finally return the sunglass place
Hand over the chocolates. Get another hug.
Manager is now there. Am handed $25 out of till and a photo taken of my ecard.
She hands me $25. I ask is that your money. Yes she says but that's fine i will try and get the voucher sorted.
I want you to be happy.
No I said I won't be happy if I take your money
I start to cry, we hug. My tamaiti and I leave.
I call my tane. Buy her a box of chocolates he says./
After a long time of us patiently waiting, she gets time to ring the boss. She is able to process rest of the e-cards. What about the $25 one I ask. I have to use the e card here now and I dont want anything else (just bought 2 pairs of sunglasses). She again calls her boss. I see her in her purse
Took youngest to buy sunglasses as I scored giftcards from doing a forum... one of said ecards apparently wouldn't go through. Youngest didn't want me to make a fuss and insisted on covering the $25 one. Then the next one wouldnt so that's when I said there has to be something wrong. Just activated/
Very true. Slapping myself now
There were feijoas from last season still on the tree...
Heres some for you that would be good to have some focus on:
Children and adults are dying in Gaza
NZ children are living in poverty
NZs wealthiest can afford to pay more (ie fairer) tax
ACT and National's $$ influences
Exhausting ๐
Yes as they are owned by nestle
I hope not as I dont make trifle until the NY
Made a birthday cake today and baked it at considerably higher than I should have ๐๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Can't ice it until I've been to the supermarket as I didn't have as much vanilla as I thought ๐๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Our comment: He needs therapy (we haven't ever watched Brideshead)
Found weevils in my bag of flour (already had some in a container) am still debating what to do with the bag...sift and remove weevils or throw away ๐ค
The 18+ range is really fantastic. Last year the eldest got Thor's hammer for their birthday. He was VERY impressed
With his brother giving him the Venomised Groot, a very cool day will be had tomorrow!
It's very awesome!
The eldest's birthday is apopo and he asked for lego so will be getting some cool sets then. Nearly got Captain Americas shield but we decided on 3 smaller sets (hes not on social media)
Lego Fender guitar ser
Our rangatahi got this for their pฤpฤ who plays guitar (we do treasure hunts, not Christmas in usual sense, so there was a clue to be solved for its location!)
Both our rangatahi had an enjoyable time. Both appeared happy w/ what they got, from the lipsalve to the main
One of the prizes/gifts was a dash cam for the car the youngest has access to. He recently got a VERY large speeding fine, & it's a condition of continued use of car. He took this very well
We have nice food but there is no pressure, especially on me. Husband now does more

Less stress
Less cost
Less waste
No anticlimax
Parents are involved and present.
Kids of all ages enjoy working out the answers and searching
A packet of chippies is not a disappointment!
Takes longer
Is very enjoyable for all
Now kids are older they do same for us!
Not Christian. So Xmas is just commercialisation.
We chose to not celebrate yrs ago.
One child didn't want to miss out on gifts so we started a new tradition.
A treasure hunt. Clues made up by us, sm everyday things w something nice from parents for the last.
Hours of fun for all every year.
We've done a treasure hunt instead for years. No made up man necessary! Not Christian so #decolonised
