I 💙love💙 this color way so much! I knit some wrist warmers out of the same yarn. I wish it would work for a sweater.

That’s part of why I have at least one project of each type going at all times. Although my problem is usually with crochet causing pain, not knitting.

You could try changing up your style, like if you’re knitting English style try continental or if you’re right handed try a left handed hold.

Blankets I made for my kids. My girl loves hers! My son decided to change his favorite color right after I started. 🙄

Each used one value pack of Knit Picks Hawthorne plus bare for the border. The pink/blue is Peppermint Bubble. The red was just reds.

These knit up really quick. The "pattern" would probably stand out more in a plain yarn, but I still like how they came out.

They are simple to make. CO 45, 8 rows garter, 8 rows seed stitch, 4" garter, 8 rows seed stitch, 8 rows garter, bind off.

After years of knitting, learning cables, lace, color work, etc. I always come back to a good old garter stitch or stockinette project in a beautiful yarn. Sometimes the simplest stitches make the yarn shine its best.

The problem with picking needles in a color you love is that when you knit with yarn in a color you love they often match too closely to see your stitches. 😂

Yes, I am currently avoiding starting the sleeves on my first bottom up cardigan. The body is ready and on stitch holders, but I simply cannot start a sleeve.

The theme this week is love. Here are a couple of my older knits that fit the bill. The hat is the From Norway with Love pattern by Heidi Gronvold. The baby cardigan is the One Baby Sweater pattern by Erika Flory.

This is part of why I also crochet. I always have a simple granny stitch blanket going to keep my hands busy while I ponder my next knit. Although I’ve admittedly been far less monogamous in my knitting than usual lately.

This is beautiful! The yarn is such a perfect foresty green. You said it’s a “cable-like stitch pattern”? Are these not real cables?!

My kids do karate and I keep thinking I should start a simple portable something to bring. I know I’d mess up anything with cables or increases, so I end up not bringing anything and just stare at the wall for an hour. 😂

and bioluminescent! I am utterly fascinated by these creatures.

Who else loves totes for their knitting projects? Every time my husband goes on a business trip he brings me back a new project bag! ❤️💙

I just rest mine in the cupholder part of the treadmill.

I do a treadmill, but I have seen people use small bags that can loop around their wrist/arm to walk around like outside.

Oh, I get it now! That makes sense. I hope someone makes a feed. I don’t think I’ll be able to figure that one out lol.

I can’t seem to figure out how to follow it though, so I don’t have to search it every time. I’ve followed other hashtags, but this one won’t let me for some reason.

Anyone else have a walking project? I knit a little over one stripe worth during my 2.5 mile walk this morning. My 6yo wants a Cat in the Hat scarf. I’ll have to get walking if I want to finish it before winter is over!

Agree! I’m having so much fun scrolling through EVERYBODY’S knitting and crochet on this app. I hope it really takes off.

Ideally, I’d make something to donate to a charity opposing their values. Realistically, I’d probably just use it for whatever project I want for myself and not buy from them again.

Cute! Our daughters have similar taste. I’m making a blanket for mine in the same exact yarn right now. She’s 4.5yo and obsessed with everything Poppy and Trolls.
