No but it's going well still!
Telling your date that Raskolnikov is your Jungian shadow is not conducive to flirting.
One benefit of being a millenial in a world where media is dead is that I get to relive my childhood over and over again until I die. Hands gripping Pokemon Wave Blue as the pixel sounds of Pallet Town lull me into the void within a Tesla euthansia booth. Can any other generation say the same?
I do think people on the outside fail to appreciate just how small TTRPG companies are, even the larger more established ones. When I worked for one the marketing department consisted of me, and I sat next to the sales department, who was a brilliant bloke.
Nice! I really regret selling my vinyl player and collection when I last moved, loved listening to the specials
Nice to know I'll have at least have some transferable skills should I return to the work place...
In ancient Rome debt slaves were buried alive for the sadistic amusement of the crowds, as one of a series of ritual humiliations, with the one out of a thousand who survived the horrific ordeals being gifted a large sum of money.
Just kidding, that's what Mr.Beast does today.
Went to the doctor for depression
He asked me what I do for fun
I said I like playing tabletop roleplaying games
He said, good news, famous tabletop RPG designer Panayiotis lives here, play a game with him to cheer yourself up.
I said, but doctor, I am Panayiotis.
He then he asked me to carry a replica B52 bomber made of stone back to my dorm room.
I've woken up incredibly angry at that imaginary dream teacher, doesn't he know I was nominated for an ENNIE once, what a tool.
Had a dream I was in a TTRPG writing class and a teacher marked me a C for a trifold phamplet module I just finished writing IRL,citing it didn't have enough exposition, and when I asked how to convey exposition within the tight format whilst keeping the content he said 'I don't know, I'm hungover.'
4e was the first TTRPG I played for years, it's accessibility was huge in getting me to understand RPGs, though in the end I couldn't help but feel it didn't feel like DnD, which I appreciate isn't saying anything, but is also everything. I moved to PF 1e and then B/X DnD which did feel like DnD.

It's dawned on me that the people who argue that MΓRK BORG is 'all style, no substance' are the same people who think the AI version of the Mona Lisa that expands the background to add more 'content' is an improvement.
I ran a peasants revolt inspired game way back when, you ate the rich at the end, literally! This looks great.
oh no....

Starting a BECMI campaign for the new year as I wanted to run something with old school vibes but that had more progression and a 'heroic' feel.
As I went through to clean up some of the mechanics it slowly dawned on me I was just writing 3e DnD...
Check back in 2030 when I re-invent 5e.
This is me being interviewed in detailed on the nuts and bolts of writing technique.

Xerxes had a massive beard
In Stranger Things Mike refers to Will as a sorcerer due to innate magic ability, but the sorcerer class wouldn't appear until the release of DnD 3.0 in 2000, which means Mike must be a time traveller sent back to the 80s to stop Vecna destroying the world by saving Sarah Connor.
I have also been reminded of this....alas
When penguin can run Warhammer Total War I'm all in
