Decided to try something different and add the lore blurb into the image description.

Although the idea came from a singular mind, it was through the efforts of five that The Alacran was born in the back alleys of Ul'dah. Once founded to grant aid to the poor through illicit means, the criminal gang would eventually turn to darker purpose as "The Sword of Thal" Leavold climbed to usurp the group's founders. (Left to Right) Aldiara Rogue, Tatali Tali, P'uuma Lanaa, V'odho Tia, and Anghus Vance gather together around a collection of boxes in an Ul'dahn alleyway, posed together as a unified group despite their varying appearances and outfits.

Zaya gets along very well with the Four Lords, though it’s mainly under a business agreement.

In lieu of the WoL, Zaya helps temper the Four Lords (and other Auspices) whenever their aramitama gets out of control. She also serves as a middle-woman between the Auspices and Mortals.

That adoption wouldn’t become official until after Castrum Fluminis and Gosetsu’s retirement, but Zaya has never thought of Hien as anything other than her brother; and she, his sister.

Zaya’s elder (adopted) brother, and the person she swore herself to as a Samurai.

Zaya grew up with Hien, and when her parents died during the first Doman Rebellion, Lord Kaien chose to adopt her into the Rijin family (as he had been very close to Zaya’s parents)

Zaya never really got to interact much with Minfilia, since Zaya was basically just a Scion recruit while Minfilia was still around (in the “default” timeline, at least)

But I like to think they’d be rather fond of each other, in part due to both having come from “civilian professions.”

Zaya never had the chance to meet Lyna, since the two exist on different shards.

However! They are kindred spirits, in my mind, and would get along extremely well!
… they would also be a truly terrifying combination on the battlefield.
