more random colour scheme shenanigans, with photo studies
if you recognize this view you're a real one

random colour palette + stuff on my desk
the person i've been following who has the exact hairstyle i wanted literally just cut it short and now i'm conflicted
gonna go to the hair stylist and ask if they have any wanna-dos
a painting of a snowy park with a kneeling statue of a woman. the colour scheme is pink and purple with a bright green for the statue.
strange colours
literally saw this after finishing 3 hours but it's cool, today wasn't going to be very exciting anyway ๐คช
an illustration of a young light-skinned woman in a dark purple dress in profile. two crows sit on her shoulders and a third is on her right hand. a folk art inspired decoration frame encloses the four of them. the colours are green and purple, warm and vibrant.
my sister wanted to be drawn as a crow lady, bc she started befriending crows by giving them peanuts. this was her birthday present ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ
filling up my ancient ipod with music to get stabbed by a guy in black leather gloves to
people have no idea how literal i was being here
good day to Preorder New Mitski Album (and hope for the best)
i have no idea if you can do that with anacondas
an illustration of a pink-haired pale woman dressed in black with a green anaconda around her shoulders. she is standing in front of a blue curtain, a stagelight shines on her. faint outlines of people watching her in the foreground.
guess who was bored at work again (with access to a cintiq)
me coming into work
(egg head voice) it's time to compromise!!! yeeeeaaagh!!!
the brothers i still really like, ed is so emo and al is the goodest boy
idk who needs to hear this but don't try to explain to me what happens at the end, i'm commenting as i watch and don't pass final judgements here, i also don't remember much
i wish i could lock this account lol...strangers replying to random posts out of the blue is weird
i'm conflicted on winry for example because i think it's sweet that her motivation for getting better at her craft is wanting to provide better support to ed in specific and it's clear that she is also passionate in general, but the narrative seems to still force her into the role of 'ideal wife'
anyway, women,
it's interesting to me that while it's a story written by a woman and there are a lot of female characters that are strong and skilled they usually also are sidekicks to men
like...buddy. your friends and coworkers were all there, it's not been 30 years it's more like 5
i think (and hope) that part of ed and al's character development is going from 'whatever i wasn't personally killing people in ishbala, so i don't feel responsible, and we have a lot of stuff on our plate as is' to ...not that
it sure is a choice to code the genocided nation as sort of middle eastern
ok ok i don't remember a ton, and back when i watched it first i didn't pay so much attention to the ishbala plot, but ??? i'm anxiously looking forward to seeing how they address a lot of characters' personal involvement with literal genocide
first thought, nothing revolutionary whatsoever, but the first episode that they tacked on is really unnecessary and actually bad, they establish rules and characters that get reestablished not much later and it kills the momentum
...go
Lin and I talked about watching it one day since we met basically bc I genuinely used to love it, and she only saw the weird first show, so on new years day it was time to
i wanna start a fma:b rewatch thread because LOL
