Just days ago, Trump and the U.S. administration asked Ukraine to help intercept Iranian drones and defend U.S. bases with weapons developed through Ukrainian blood and battlefield experience.
And now Trump has allowed those who are killing Ukrainians to rebuild their cash reserves.
Yesterday, shortly after his conversation with Putin, Trump stated that the United States would lift part of the sanctions on Russia’s oil sector and on several other countries until the crisis is resolved.
He added that the sanctions might not need to be reintroduced afterward.
Since February 20, Orban has mentioned Zelenskyy and Ukraine 35 times in his posts. That’s several posts a day.
There are 11 requests from countries neighboring Iran, European states, and the United States. There is clear interest in Ukraine’s experience in protecting lives – including interceptor drones, electronic warfare systems, and training, Zelenskyy on Ukraine’s involvement in the Middle East conflict.
After the strikes on Iranian vessels, Iran will likely retaliate against Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.
Let’s hope this doesn’t lead to lifting sanctions on Russian oil. Although…
