It’s been a summer full of sailing photos. This one is from the Governor’s Cup, a 68 mile race from Annapolis to. St. Mary’s City. Check out all the photos: spinsheet.smugmug.com/SpinSheet/20...

The goal this evening was to grab a few Osprey shots. But this guy showed up on the walk back to my house and stole the show. #squirrel
Today is World Bear Day, so I give you a grizzly bear photo, taken in Yellowstone last fall. This was taken from a safe distance (600mm lens, heavily cropped) with a National Park Service ranger on-site making sure no one did anything to endanger the safety and well-being of the bear. #yellowstone
From this evening … some early season High School sailing team practice. Spring is just around the corner! #annapolis
No cranes! It’s been a few years since I was last there…
Been feeling a little prickly, so it’s a great time to post this beauty, from a 2022 Yellowstone trip. I was driving on the east side of the park, east of Sylvan Pass, when I spotted this guy out of the corner of my eye. No porcupine traffic jam was generated during this photo session! #yellowstone
Perhaps this is the first sign of Spring for me. I know, I’m being a bit optimistic. Just trying to stay positive! #navysailing
Hey friends! Thanks for following me! Here’s a shot of a Great Egret that I took at Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge a few days ago. Harris Neck is a 10 minute drive off of I-95, exit 67 in Georgia. The place is magical. Tons of live oaks, egrets, tricolored herons, etc. Slow down; enjoy nature.
Backyard critter giving me the side-eye.
This stunning Blue Grosbeak capture was taken back in May of 2021. I still can’t get over how cooperative this bird was. I was shooting with my old 500mm lens, so I was pretty dar away, but birds never stick around and pose. This guy put on a 15 minutes show! Another magical moment out in the field.
Yellowstone Daydreaming
Digging through the archives. This was from a winter trip to the interior of Yellowstone back I. 2018.
