As someone that started with Inkscape i understand your pain, moving to another program is hard specifically because of that, sadly if we want adobe to go bankrupt or finally listen to their costurmers we have to make the jump, or at least that's what I think
sad you didn't liked Inkscape, it has become better nowadays but it's still not entirely stable, but that's because is made by volunteers that are using their free time to make it, you can try affinity that has become free
