£85.9bn wealth transfer to the rich.
Since 2022 UK govt has sold gilts/bonds acquired with QE at a loss.
It is also paying interest to banks on deposits they hold with the Bank of England to facilitate interbank transactions. Unnecessary.
£85.9bn enriched the rich, inflicted harms on others.
"The notion of incentivising protesters to lie – to affect remorse for conviction views – is both madness and consistent with a legal system that protects those who destroy the planet for personal enrichment and attacks those who selflessly try to save it."

How we treat people matters - from the DWP's spirit crushing approach to the #CarersAllowanceOverpaymentsScandal, to the way this government has rolled out today's welfare cuts - real people are impacted and worried sick. Today I put this to the Secretary of State.
If the Tories had been in power, Labour would be SCREAMING about the unfairness of yesterday's announced welfare cuts.
Instead we have the bizarre and unedifying spectacle of the Tories going "yes, that's a good start, but the cuts don't go far enough".

People on disability benefit don't store their money off-shore, they use the money locally to enable their daily life.
Disability benefit is very hard to get. Many people with disabilities go without because they already can't navigate the difficult system, or the system is too harsh.
