Mauna Pau'ole (daender) ➡️ Spencer Model Train Show

Since it's #MacroMarch, this is a perfect time to repost these fun macro images of Mauna I got from Shikizshigls! Even at Kajiu-like heights, he's still an adorable goofball!

Here's a video of the train passing by. This was recorded before the overhead photo, and before I added additional hoppers to this consists. While I intended on running solid CNW locomotive as power, it's poetic that CR 6811 and CNW 7001 are hauling this train. Both were broken earlier this year.

Today was a blast! The club wasn't crowded so I was able to run my longest hopper car train thus far. It was very pleasing to see my train perform reliably after I invested so much time into it!

Honestly, it's very hot (also literally, lmao)! Especially if the cramped space doesn't yield, so the fatty ends up filling up the whole space with their mass~

Ever since you started this watercolour style with the textured effect, like it's painted on a canvas or sketchpad, it's become very recognizable for me! Reminds me illustrations in stories. Your ability to draw MILFs/GILFs is positively unique. Your bodies have a good sense of weight/heft to them.

Instead of playing with model trains, I spent Saturday in a forest watching bikes and rally cars tear through sand, dirt, and mud! When the air wasn't full of the sounds of racing, I could hear so many unique bird calls and even woodpeckers tapping away at trees!

Imagine an anthro eastern dragon with long body... but their body is patterned to mimic various railroad schemes, much like a freight train or the very early years of Amtrak's "rainbow era!" TTX yellow, GN Sky Blue, PRR Tuscan Red, etc!

Elandra loves to flaunt her body, especially in threatening manners! The destruction of property is the icing on a delicious cake for her! Thanks again for drawing Elandra and making her look so marvelously wide!

Lastly, my SD45X hauling the tractors while an all-Southern train is pulled by a SD40-2 longhood-forward as Southern intended! The Southern consist was recently and graciously donated to the club and it's a fine runner. I need to find a way to make the crew figures face the right direction...

A better view of the 0-8-0 and its colorful consist of mismatched passenger cars. The Rapido anniversary sleeper car passed testing with flying colors. I'm glad I used the longer couplers provided with my car or else it wouldn't survive the tight turns on the layout!

The 4-8-2 hides the 0-8-0 behind it, but they're racing through town together.

I had the HO layout to myself for half of Saturday, so I did something different and did some side-by-side mainline running between my 0-8-0 and the club's UP 4-8-2. My switcher is hauling a chartered passenger trip while the UP Mountain-type hauls tractors to markets! These two put on a show!

How long will you be accepting forms? I'm currently at work so I can't grab my refs and I need to set up the required payment account. I think I have an OC that could fit your mood!

As someone who played a lot of Ace Combat (5, Zero, and 6), watched way too many videos, and knows too much lore... THIS IS SICK!!! What a cool design!

My heavyweight observation car passes by on the westbound mainline. The car has a red light (top center) and ditch lights turned on. The interior is also illuminated. The ditch lights are commonly seen on track inspection cars for crews to view the condition of the track as they pass over it.

A recent addition to my fleet is this custom Athearn Heavyweight (heh) observation car painted for the 65th anniversary of Model Railroader Magazine. Someone upgraded it with controllable lights and a custom interior! I fixed some broken pieces and added figures for the final touch. Not bad for $50!
