You don't realize this initially, and it really is a pain in the ass.

Making the figures more realistic was so I could still have the huge features, but not bury the character. I should have been going the other direction, and just tone down sizes while simplifying the designs.

The issue with my initial shortstack-esque stylization was that I had to make the exaggerated features even more exaggerated. That rendered Famiko mostly just some legs, boobs and a head, which isn't really an easy, interesting, fun or versatile design to work with.

I understand what you're saying about me focusing too much on my technical improvement over just making my cartoon tiddy shitpost content, and I think you are right. I need to poop or get off the rug.

The last few pictures are very random, I admit, but they are mostly meant to show people I'm alive while I'm getting caught up on long-overdue dead cat comms. I guess it does kind of look like I have no plan, but I assure you I still enjoy drawing Polo/Famiko/Hedda.

I never considered the removal of the tape. Maybe she enjoys it.
