However, Amy's laid off hundreds of workers shortly after the boycott ended.

As always, consumers hold power, and we encourage people to stay informed and make purchasing decisions that align with their values. We appreciate you checking in and continuing to care about this issue and the workers!

Hello! Thanks for asking. The boycott has ended at the request of the workers. The workers shared that they believe the boycott had the impact they had hoped to achieve. Out of respect for their decision, we are no longer actively promoting the boycott.

Text: Women Who Led. Harriet Tubman & the Power of β€˜By Any Means Necessary’

Harriet Tubman is a name many people recognize, but the full picture of her impact is often underestimated. She was one of the most powerful leaders in Black history.
She led several Black people to freedom, risking her life repeatedly. During the Civil War, she also served the Union as a nurse and spy, helping plan missions that freed enslaved people. She truly embodied the reality of by any means necessary.

She truly embodied the reality of by any means necessary.

Long before the phrase β€œby any means necessary” became associated with the fight for civil rights, Harriet Tubman lived its meaning through her actions.

For her, freedom was not an abstract idea, it was something worth every risk, every mile traveled, and every act of defiance against an unjust and racist system. Her legacy is a reminder that the pursuit of justice has always required strong action and commitment.

Let us honor the anniversary of Harriet Tubman’s death and reflect on the life she lived in pursuit of freedom.

Harriet Tubman’s legacy is one of the clearest examples of what it means to fight for freedom by any means necessary, making her one of the greatest freedom fighters ever known. 🌎🀎

If our advocacy excludes a certain group of women because their struggle looks different from our own, then it is not true advocacy at all, it is an active oppression campaign.

Real progress not only demands but requires that we stand together and refuse to leave anyone behind. πŸ’“

The calls to divide us are not accidents, they are distractions. History shows that when women come together across differences, we ignite change that reshapes laws, cultures, and futures. Those who benefit from inequality understand this power, which is why they try to separate us.

We are witnessing different chapters of the same fight for liberation, when:
- disabled women fight for access ♿️
- Black women challenge systemic racism 🀎
- Indigenous women defend their homeland 🌎
- Trans women demand dignity and safety πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ
- Young girls claim their right to grow and lead 🌱

Today, on International Women’s Day, let us be reminded that liberation has always required a united front.

The truth is simple: none of us are free until all of us are free. The struggles women face may not always look the same, but that does not make them separate struggles.

Ghana Independence Day, celebrated on March 6, marks the moment in 1957 when Ghana became the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence from colonial rule.

It’s a day that honors those whose courage and sacrifice ignited a movement for freedom and self-determination across Africa.

Activists like Yaa Asantewaa, the Queen Mother who led the Ashanti rebellion against British rule, and Hannah Kudjoe, an incredible activist in Ghana’s independence movement, remind us that women have always been at the forefront of change.

True liberation requires us to think beyond individual actions and instead act as a collective committed to justice.

The work begins locally: organize, build relationships with your neighbors, and unite against systems that claim the final say.

March 3 is World Wildlife Day, a time to reflect on how little we share this planet with our animal friends. πŸ¦’πŸ¦œβœ¨

Wild animals now make up less than 4% of all mammals on Earth. Through colonization, exploitative systems, and climate denial, we’ve built a world that values profit over coexistence. πŸŒ²πŸ’Έ

Since then, successive administrations have built and reinforced a framework that allows ICE to target sick children, activists, grandparents, asylum-seekers...our neighbors.

We do not need to reform this system. We do not need to fund it further. We need to abolish it.

This pattern began with the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. It has been 144 years since then. We have had 144 years to correct this injustice.

ICE was created in 2002 in the wake of 9/11, during a time when harmful stereotypes painted immigrants as threats or terrorists.
