𝙃𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙭 (𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗜𝘃𝘆) was traditionally used as an anti-inflammatory remedy. Today, it is found in cough syrups to thin mucous. The nanoparticles in ivy roots have also been shown to be effective UV blockers!
