Just another year of floundering and they'd have had to figure out another, better gamemode
2xko/multiversus/rumbleverse were def on the right track but b/c they focused on the ultra competitive side, they threw.
the 2v2 mode is a great thing that can add another layer of engagement, and competition, to the scene. but like, ppl need to be able to do other shit w/it as well.
imo ofc, lol.
One small comfort is that I'm actually around to play before the servers close. I still regret not playing Rumbleverse at the end before that shut down.
It was an awesome BR game that I love but it was released at a bad time. There was a lot of fighting games releasing around that time(including Multiversus)and Fortnite added no builds.

it's hard to choose my top 9 games because 9 is not a very big number
Id recommend getting used to it because by the way gamers are treating new games by calling them Concord, we're probably going to just keep getting remakes, remasters, and sequels because gamers are showing they are not interested in new games and they just want things we already had...
Publishers seem paralyzed by fear of trying anything other than what worked 8 years ago. This strategy has a bewilderingly low success rate, but that hasn't stopped them from deciding its the only viable route to return on investment in gaming.

speaking of Rumbleverse, we actually made a community for it on discord and twitter to help the developers get a new publisher to hopefully return the game some day! Worse case scenario we convince Iron Galaxy to do something with the IP in some form to return. Would you like to join us?
