I mean you might not have known he was friends with Epstein but you did did know he was Peter Mandelson. His Wikipedia entry is not classified.

I love orzo so much and my husband is very tiresome about it. But meatballs would probably be enough to get him over that.
quick reminder that NT's production of The Importance of Being Earnest, starring human ray of sunshine Ncuti Gatwa, will be streaming FOR FREE on YouTube this weekend

I have a new work laptop because my old one was creaking under the strain. Unexpected bonus - I look so nice on the camera of my new one! I was red faced and haggard on the old one, I look like me in this one. Very cheering for the old mental health.
Fabulous news as I discover my only in person meeting of the day has an online option, which means I can now attend all the other meetings as well. It's not one for which I am crucial, but I would like to show up to show support, and the others are v useful to attend.
This tesla tunnel thing is hilarious. How did you manage to both reinvent "tunnels" and simultaneously make them less useful??? How?
We have a new word for an old interest. "Oooo!" the giant baby declaims, proudly waving his shoes.
He's a good chip
I do indeed. It's the safest way to make a get away when you are of limited balance π
No. I mean not yet. But no. He's not very hairy either.
In the mornings we stop him stealing the big girl's hair brush by distracting him with cheerios, a few at a time.
Oh and I've had to tell him off for rootling in the bin twice, and he tried to chase the Tesco man when he left earlier.
So far today the baby has walked around with a toy mouse in his mouth, shredded his toy ball with his teeth, and now we're playing fetch with a stuffed cow.
I've accidentally birthed a dog, haven't I.
It's been tough though!
I hope you can manage both of those most of the time but UBI would help A Lot, wouldn't it. I don't even care if the billionaires get it too as long as everyone does.
I was wondering what on earth you'd done then π
We're not terribly well off but have education privilege already, so I think we'd probably be saving some of it for the children's education and some for a slightly larger house. But it would also mean we could comfortably go on holiday, so that bit would go back into the economy.

FLUPPING HELL
I have secured a packet of mini whips. I have not tried the other! I'll lookout next time, not getting back in that queue.
I do not like this gen AI
I do not like what it implies
I do not want it in my art
I do not think it makes you smart
I do not want it in my games
I do not like its goals and aims
I do not want it in my books
I do not like the way it looks
I do not like it, I don't care
I do not want it anywhere
You can tell my parents have visited recently because the baby keeps trying to say "how do" π₯°π₯°
It's the mini M&S ones in a bag. M&S choc is the best of the own brands and beats most of the branded ones into a cocked hat.
I thought I had mini walnut whips and it turned out to be giant buttons πππ
I mean I'm OK bc they're pretty nice too but
that they have kept their relationship intensely private to the point that this is how we find out is probably the best sign they might actually make it
anyway, rules are rules, here is the exact moment she fell in love
Nursery reports that the giant baby (1.18 ish years old) has been painting lions onto paper plates using a fork.
I look forward to seeing what change of clothes I packed him later, then.
Some utterly spectacular Sunday driving out on the roads today.
So good. I made a batch at lunchtime but I'm following the "leave for a few days" instruction.
On a similar note, this Visit Wales Bara brith recipe is not only cake, but also if you slice the cake into 8 or 9 you get 1.5 servings of fruit in each (for dried fruit a serving is 30g).
I don't make the rules, people, I just eat the plants.

Just under 60g of M&S dark chocolate coated cherries is one portion of fruit, FYI.
I'm sorry. It's hard work, isn't it.
