John puts his glasses on, as a common red-capped sparrow appears in the background. Panel 3: Draki, what do you think about? Draki pinches her nose, either annoyed or trying her best to think. Panel 4: Draki: I don't... think about birds. Draki shrugs, behind her is a large NO sign that just reads BIRDLESS.

A goofy conversation that mostly happened in one of our early sessions that I haven't stopped thinking about.

since this will always be circulating, i might as well be the first one to put it here: the stretch tips i made many years ago… remember to stop and stretch and take care of your hands! be mindful of your work time & listen to your body.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Social media is.. exhausting to put it mildly, but existing in any visible space is. I think that finding the right balance for yourself will leave you happier and healthier, especially if you focus on the good and what nourishes you. I hope you can find that peace quickly.
