Happy birthday!
I have had several Linkwoods in IBs, and absolutely LOVED every single one. I had my first OB a couple of weeks ago, and it was very meh. Anyone else have a similar experience?
Haha right! More for me!
One of my favorites right there. It's amazing that it flies under so many people's radar.
Greg Urquhart is undefeated!
It turns out that the best way to get a group of fifteen people to listen to me blether on about Scotch whisky is to give them free whisky. Lineup for the tasting was Glendronach 12, Springbank 10, Longrow Peated, and Ardbeg 10. Kilkerran 8 was the bonus dram #scotch #glendronach #springbank #ardbeg
Enjoyed a great tasting at the Scotch Library at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale. Holy smokes, some of the old and rare whiskies they have are mind-blowing. And way out of my budget! #scotch #whisky
Nice episode! I was a huge fan of the Blaaack Committee Release. Agree with y'all on Scorch. BizarreBQ was one I was skeptical of, since my town (Memphis) is famous for its BBQ, especially pork ribs and shoulder. But I'll be damned if they didn't nail it.
Interesting. I had a dram of this at Mother Superior in Leith back in November, and it blew my socks off. I share your trepidation about rum cask finishes, but I loved this one. Could've been the experience with new friends, but everyone is different! SlΓ inte!
This is some Severance Data Refinement bullshit right here.
Underrated comment
What is my cat doing in your box?
One of my favorites. Love the tropical fruit notes, with the gentle smoke. Reminiscent of Bowmore in that way. SlΓ inte, Mark, and happy new year!
I see Woody's bottling for Diggers there. I've been hanging there all week. Lots of great gets there!
Priest and a ginger boy! Classic combo.
They should hyphenate the union of the two organizations, CBS News-Free Press. "Now 100% news-free!"
I'm now apparently that age when nurses just automatically speak loudly to me.
Wow, Campbeltown Loch has sure evolved over the years, from a blended whisky at 40% to blended malt at 46%. Its recent iteration is one of my favorites. How does it compare to the old blend?
Loved the episode. Megan was a great guest! π₯
On Friday, I did a nice little 600-mile round trip from Memphis to St Louis to meet Carl Crafts on his Ardnamerica Tour from Ardnamurchan Distillery in Scotland. Carl is an American who is living the dream by working in the whisky industry in Scotland. #scotch #whisky #singlemalt #ardnamurchan
I'm doing Eat Sleep Dram Repeat in November! Can't wait.
The Scotch Wall at Chez Clemoore. Over the past several years, I have enjoyed learning about the processes that create such incredible variety in Scotch whisky. If you say you don't like Scotch, you just haven't had the right one for you. #scotch #whisky #singlemalt
What was your favorite and why was it the 2022 St Andrews edition?
Great article. I have been mourning the era when racists largely kept their views to themselves. I grew up in MS (my mother was actually in the same class as Trent at Pascagoula HS). I grew up understanding the "code words." Nowadays, there seems to be no need to disguise one's racism.
I applaud your good manners
My God. I'll never forget walking in there for the first time. I swear I heard angels singing.
That's a very good friend, indeed. I just finished the last drops from my cage bottle of Longrow in a fino cask a few days ago. I got it two years ago. The gift shop there is tiny, but packed with so much tastiness.
What's next? We have to bow down to Taco Baal?
