That part, yes. So far it seems less ick. Time will tell how that plays out. Joined Twitter in its inaugural year and it was fun and cool. We’re 15+ years later; had a recession, a pandemic, and an insurrection since then. I am a lot more pessimistic these days

I don't know if where we are at qualifies as the "good" ending, but at least I'm not feeding The Algorithm™ and "eyeballs on ads" revenue stream to an absolute troll. Small victories.
