As a paleontologist and biologist I have seen the effects of this firsthand

us paleontologists are always fighting over how to pronounce the names of dinosaurs and the number of pronunciation variations for each extinct animal is crazy

I love doing fieldwork to look for dinosaurs.So far I've searched for them in South America, China and Europe. Here's a pic of me in Chile carrying out a ~100lb vertebra from a titanosaur on my back thru the mountains. Our team carried some of the dino and the rest had to be helicoptered out. 🦕
