βBut we all know what Alice means when Alice switches words and Alice meant Monster.β
Wonderfully creative story by @pintsncupcakes.bsky.social in Ghost Parachute that teeters on the edge of surreal, but possibly not.
Sharpen those pencils, humans.

Every writer who generates a slop image for their work is a class traitor.
"I can't afford a visual artist"
So your solution is stabbing artists in the back? Stealing from them?
Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.
When Jami gave me a heads-up on Christmas Eve I thought this was a scam. Super thankful for this first review (and for this not being a scam)!
Hahaha
In my/our genderly defence, I only see the Pantone news because Google insists
Timely read considering Pantone's colour choice for 2026!

A photo of a standing picture frame positioned on the highest perch of a cat tree, in the middle of a tall window facing a small patch of lawn and a city sidewalk lined with rowhouses.
We put a photo of Bula on her cat tree so that people who knew her from the sidewalk would know she's gone. But now the picture frame has become the thing that most frequently catches the corner of my vision when I'm unprepared and briefly makes me think she's there, kicking off realization again.
Thank you! Almost miser and petulant combined, I like it
