Your post prompted me to try to find the astronomy that Science has been publishing recently, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to filter the astronomy & planetary science out from the rest. Am I missing something?

If planet 9 exists, is it more likely to be a close binary system than an isolated object? And if it is a binary, would it not therefore be a planet?
