"little warband"

It's going to be counted as one of the three largest armies in (known) history, isn't it?

Ok some folks said yes so 🧡

(Keeping in mind we spend every single day at the beach and value comfort and essentially make it our living room LOL)

I feel this a lot these days when I see people angry that other folks are not focused on the same atrocity they are, with the same intensity they are. I regret to say there's more than one genuine atrocity in the world at the moment; it doesn't minimize the others if one chooses another to focus on.

GifCities

The Internet Archive has rolled out an extremely effective new tool for searching for old Geocities GIFs.

I'd apologize for what I'm about to do to this website as a result, but that would be a lie, because I won't feel sorry at all

" On April 5th, a 54% tariff goes into effect on a wide range of goods imported from China. For those of us who create boardgames, this is not just a policy change. It's a seismic shift.
At Steve Jackson Games, we are actively assessing what this means for our products, our pricing, and our future plans. We do know that we can't absorb this kind of cost increase without raising prices. We've done our best over the past few years to shield players and retailers from the full brunt of rising freight costs and other increases, but this new tax changes the equation entirely.
Here are the numbers: A product we might have manufactured in China for $3.00 last year could now cost $4.62 before we even ship it across the ocean. Add freight, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution margins, and that once-$25 game quickly becomes a $40 product. That's not a luxury upcharge; it's survival math.
Some people ask, "Why not manufacture in the U.S.?" I wish we could. But the infrastructure to support full-scale boardgame production – specialty dice making, die-cutting, custom plastic and wood components – doesn't meaningfully exist here yet. I've gotten quotes. I've talked to factories. Even when the willingness is there, the equipment, labor, and timelines simply aren't."

P2: They reach a desk, behind which another comic person sits. The latter points off to their left.

P3: the original Comic Person is now standing in a tiled corridor, speaking to another Comic Person (also containing a recursive version this comic). They hold a clipboard in their left hand.

P4: we are now staring at a hospital bed, on which another Comic Person is curled up in pain. The original Comic Person stands over them, looking mournful.

If you have a personal Google Account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off...

HOW TO FILTER OUT AI IMAGES IN GOOGLE IMAGES

When you type something add the following minus keywords: -ai, -prompt

Since AI movement increased highly in 2022, use "before:" like before:2021 (VERY effective)

The following keywords will affect and should decrease amounts of AI imagery appearing on your search.

Create, not scrape!

Hopefully this image is still relevant given Google's changes. Save this on your computer or phone and refer to it as needed.

a dark background with the words we are borg written on it Alt: A cubic space ship, surrounded by gas clouds. "We are Borg."

I know it flies in the face of canon, but my personal head canon is that the Borg Queen is a modern invention, one that is a specific response to encountering and assimilating humans.

The Borg assimilated us, and in return, we made them shitty.

Here's the idea 🧡:

Here's the whole paragraph:

In 2025 (less than 30 days away), PayPal will start selling your transaction history for targeted advertising.

I very highly recommend logging into your account and going to Settings > Data & Privacy > Personalized Shopping.

If you're reading this, turn that off RIGHT NOW before you forget.
