The return of Stress Bake Monday. Made Anxiety Tamer Coconut Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. Rescued some long ago forgotten, frozen, overripe bananas. Used a Pinterest recipe for the basic quick bread…Shredded coconut & dark chocolate chips were my add-ins.👨‍🍳

My fave makes are a result of “shopping” what I’ve got in my stash, designing a project around it &/or scrap yarn projects.
Much different experience than buying yarn for a specific project.🧶

Working in a stash-buster cardi. I’m much further along than when this pic was snapped, tho. This one’s based on the (viral) granny hexagon cardigan, I’ve added lots of improvisational elements to the basic shape. Using self-striping, sock weight yarn & faux-mohair held together for this step…🧶

This is my sample of the "Bromley" shawl. It is definitely colorful, feels wonderfully soft knitted mostly in a hand dyed Bamboo by Theodora's Pearls and last for good measure, a skein of crisp linen was used to accent it. It's popping! 🧶
