Scientists from the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies are carrying out magnetotelluric geophysical surveys in fields around Ballymena, Randalstown, Antrim and Ballyclare. The surveys are expected to run until 18th August. geminigeothermal.com/news/ @dias.ie #CountyAntrim

Scientists from DIAS and GSNI have begun a geophysical survey in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland. They are installing around 30 seismometers (which detect distant earthquakes). If you meet our colleagues as they install the equipment, feel free to ask them questions about the project.
