I worry that relaxing the checks will reduce user confidence in Obsidian and the plugin mechanism...

3. Raise the bar for community plugins somehow? I worry that AI code-review tools will make the mistakes that the AIs made in writing the original code...
4. Get stricter about not accepting new plugins that do much the same as existing ones?
