We said goodbye to our sweet Sasha girl this week. We couldn’t have had a better family dog for our boy to grow up with—sweet, docile, friendly, calm, and never met a person she didn’t like (but get the little yappy dogs away please and thank you). We were lucky to be loved by her.

I saw a post that basically said I hate that this bullshit has me rooting for Gavin Newsom and man did that immediately make me think of and then miss Jenny. She would have some shit to SAY.

Besides feeling like someone has punched me in the ribs and stomach, I’m not feeling too terrible. We’ll see how I feel today, but so far, definitely manageable.

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Im not too worried about the recovery—it’ll probably suck in certain ways, but I’ve had some pretty intense surgery recoveries, so hopefully this one is as easy-ish as everyone says.

And as long as I can still have the occasional taco shop taco or slice of pizza, I’ll consider it a win.

And ALSO ALSO, I keep depressing myself with post surgery stories of what people can’t eat anymore.

And the fact that I just HAD shoulder surgery 6 months ago, I don’t WANNA DO ANOTHER SURGERY.

I have to have my gallbladder out on Friday due to a big ole gallstone and I’m just really annoyed by the stupid design of some of the systems in humans.

My work day alternated between trying to figure out if our multi-6 figure federal grant still exists (🤷‍♀️), the new ways
this administration is going to end up hurting & killing our dementia clients (🤬), and ways to help our org survive financially(💸).

My brain and soul are tired.

I loathe ewr though so my bias is to always pick something else unless I have literally no other option.

I’d also consider arrival time. I have waited an hour plus for a car/uber/taxi from ewr when a flight landed after 11pm. (JFK isn’t always great either, but I’ve never waited even close to that long)

Even though EWR is closer, I will never recommend that as a first choice, even if only* because drivers really seem to hate to go from there to the city.
*definitely not the only reason tho

They also tend to be more like serums or moisturizer in texture.

Not the pint, but…Have you tried any Korean or Japanese sunscreens? My skin cannot handle chemical sunscreen from the us, but can handle those, I wonder if you would still have the same issue with one of the Asian brands.
