This is a VERY nice piece and you should buy it.

I work in L&D, with a sideline in theatre. My interests include green issues, interesting old cars (mainly 60s, 70s, and 80s everyday stuff), SiFi, Theatre, and writing. I have an unfinished novel; who doesn't?
This is a VERY nice piece and you should buy it.
I mean I accept that is a lot of spuds, but can it really be too many?
Is that even a thing?
My humble submission to the new Bank of England with concepts for the new bank notes to please both sides.
the Hitch-Hikerβs Guide to the Galaxy quote I think of most often these days is, βWhat do you mean, whyβs it got to be built? Itβs a bypass. Youβve got to build bypasses.β
Any connection to certain modern technologies is purely coincidental, and mostly harmless.
Still time to bring back the Alfa Romeo Romeo or Autotto.
In UK/EU Toyota sells these vans under a deal originally made with PSA.
I was ambivalent about this but it seems Tufton St really hate it.
Maybe itβs not such a bad idea after all.
I'm not going to tell you to buy one of my t-shirts again (today π).

I still think about this a lot.
Our dependency on fossil fuels makes us vulnerable. Wars across the world are pushing up prices for households in the UK.
Why keep waiting for the next crisis? We need to transition to clean power as fast as we can to protect people and our economy.

So thatβs that, right? We donβt have to put up with endless drivel about how expensive it is to save the planet abd ourselves ever again? Cool.
Dave Allen died on 10th March 2005, aged just 68. Comedian, satirist, actor, one of the funniest men of all time. His TV shows were incredibly funny. Saw him live once. Loved by millions; We all miss the great man. R.I.P. Dave Allen. πππππ #DaveAllen
Get Carter is a great, if not exacly cheery, film. For some reason, in my head, it is in B&W. I wonder if the first time I watched it was on a B&W TV and that is how I now always recall it.
I mean indiviually those words are fine, English words,
Organised in that order, to make that sentence, that is just Wing nonsense!
Dude here looking alot li'e Geoffrey from Rainbow!
Sadly, this is absolutely necessary and I welcome it for at least 2 reasons: Books are personal, about sharing experience & exploring ideas - if youβve read my books, youβve met me. And a human author is *accountable* for what they/we write: we take responsibility & influences/money are traceable.

Yes, hello, is that God? Yeah, hi. I have a complaint. You gave me this brain thatβs designed for finding berries and avoiding lions and now people are βjust circling backβ to see if we can βmove the needleβ on βkey initiativesβ? NONE of those things are berries.
Remember guys, you canβt afford a gas rig, or a coal mine, or a nuclear power station, but you can afford to put some cheap solar panels on your roof.
Thatβs why the fossil fuel industry has spent billions trying to kill renewable energy.
The dealer needs to keep you addicted.
My recollection is that the R4 was very popular Ireland, much more so that the 2CV.
My views on this might be clouded by the fact my Aunt's husband had, at least, one in the late 70's.
Factoid: In Nov 1983 Autocar looked at these automotive βsenior citizensβ & their combined 81 yrs of production.
I would never suggest which of these classic trio Iβd pick but itβs a reminder the 1990βs would see them all disappear - the 2CV in 1990, the R4 in 1994 & the Mini in 2000β¦

If you had asked me I would have said that the R4 went before the 2CV.
Just goes to show how successful the 2CV was/is at winning the attention compared to the R4

Unrelated, does anyone have any views on if Rust is lighter or heavier than sheet steel?
Also got to love a listing that talks about lovely white leather but there are no pictures of the white leather π

Crude oil prices, showing a very sharp increase in the last day, from around 65 to 101 dollars per barrel..
Oil prices wouldn't be all over the news today if more of our economy was powered by local, secure renewable energy.
This isn't an "energy crisis". It's a fossil fuel crisis.
44% of UK electricity came from renewables in 2025. More of that plus an electrified economy => no more oil shocks.
