That was a really insightful presentation!

I think I haven't disliked a film so viscerally since Forrest Gump.

I am still thinking about why I found the style of the film so disconcerting, apart from the unlikeable protagonist.

@eileenj19.bsky.social made a lot of valid points in her critique.

I am now all the more glad I was spared the undeserved epiphanic finale.

After having just walked out of Marty Supreme after its first half, it's comforting to see that meaningful film criticism is not yet dead.
