Four geometric trains and carriages made out of colourful circles and squares
abstract linear patterns, repeating motifs of circles, squares and diamonds
abstract linear patterns, in varying colours, made of diamond, triangle, oval and circular shaped labels
A cute illustration of various birds in different poses all circling a birdhous. Made from circular, square, triangular and teardrop shaped gummed labels.
From 1978, 'Bunte Welt' is an East German book of perforated gummed shapes & a series of illustrative designs that can be made from them - if you wish.

Four themes keep surfacing:
💥 Value: cultural, financial, market
💥 Power: who holds it, wants it & why
💥 Data: quality vs quantity
💥 Hype: inevitable future vs noise

In the style of a modern infographic, loosely inspired by Bauhaus design and paint swatches you would find in your local DIY Store, this ‘poster’ is a first attempt at beginning to map out areas of conversation. Some overlap, some sit next to each other. They are loosely arranged by size and colour.
Broadly the themes are Raw Materials, Manufacture, Product design, Education, Government, Society & Culture.
Time to starting to sharing my research!
March was full on! I spoke to folks across the UK, Finland, Sweden, Germany, NL & the US about how AI is reshaping the design + manufacturing of physical products (and the systems around them).
Written content’s coming, visuals will lead the way 💪

Photograph from inside The Natural History Museum London - the entrance hall. Large ornate carved stonework with huge skylights flood the crowded space below.
Here’s a picture from The Natural History Museum #London that I took in the Summer.
I was there to look at some rocks.
*No, not a cat picture.
