Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. An exhaustive examination of a Hollywood classic that still provokes consternation whenever it is screened, I wrote about the film's legacy and position in popular culture and explore the locations that inspired the studio bound production.
By Grabthar's hammer, this was a fun magazine to work on. Thrilled to share pages with @cynthiawangmedia.bsky.social and Mara Reinstein and love the designs by Herman Vega. I contributed to a chapter on the characters from the film and deep dived into sci-fi classics that influenced the filmmakers.

RIP to one of my favourite directors. I hold so many wonderful David Lynch memories, often tangled with friends and loved ones, some now lost. I met him in Brisbane where I took this photo. When I told him how much his films meant to me, he replied, “That’s really neat!”.
