I started watching “The Stolen Girl” on ITV because it’s based on a book by Alex Dahl whose work I enjoy. Anyway, so far, it’s EXACTLY the same plot as “All Her Fault” which I watched about six weeks ago. The acting is a bit ropey as well 🫤

I agree with her there but I don’t think she should have agreed to that intensely private conversation with her young sons being filmed. I’m sure she had really already told them about the divorce beforehand but millions of strangers shouldn’t be scrutinising their reactions.

My mother-in-law is back home and in a terrible state, screaming at everyone trying to help her as usual. My own mum also does this but at least she was nice pre-Alzheimer’s.

Ordered an air fryer for when the kids are back from university. DPD saying it’s delivered. It’s not delivered. There’s a lot to be said for going to the shops.

I am going to look at wedding venues with my son, his fiancée and her mum tomorrow. Was kind of hoping they’d go off on holiday to get married to save all the palava but will be nice to see my lovely son get married. ♥️

… I don’t know what to do. You can’t manhandle someone into the bath or wash their intimate areas without permission. What do they do in hospitals and care homes? Also my mother-in-law is being discharged from hospital tomorrow so that’ll be another difficult woman to contend with. Sorry for moan 😩

My dad is at his wits end. A bath chair was fitted about six weeks ago and my mum still hasn’t used it. She has refused to bath or shower for a long time. The carer ran the bath for her today but mum told her to bugger off. She won’t use water wipes. We can sometimes wash her legs but that’s all…
